Last May 7, ALPers had their monthly meeting at the residence of Alice Villa-Real.   Members who were present were James Kevin Ty, Jett Aguilar, Alice Villa-Real, Alfonso Uy, John Lawrence Uy, Rich Pijuan , Edmund Rosales, Dante Cruz, Joseph Torres, Jomar Lacson, Rafael Lunar, Lea Visaya, Hans Gideon Cerdenia, Emma Flores  so&n Louis and Lala Alcala & daughter Erin.

The meeting started around 3:30pm with ALPer Jett Aguilar giving a short rundown on 73/P Comet Schwassmann-Wachmann.  ALP director Edmund Rosales was kind enough to bring his Canon LCD projector for the lecturer to use during the meeting. Afterwards, ALP president James Kevin Ty then gives a powerpoint presentation on the current ALP news and update on activities as well as observation reports.  He then later add more informations on the current hot astro subject which was the 73/P Comet Schwassmann-Wachmann Fragment C and B.  He then showed the members comet images taken by fellow ALPers during the month of April and May.

He also uploaded a finder chart on how to locate 73/P Comet Schwassmann-Wachmann Fragment C and B.  He then discuss later on how to compute the field of view of a Canon DSLR camera.  Afterwards, James showed the members the new observation site at Caliraya, Laguna. He encourage ALPers to join the upcoming May 27th stargazing session at Caliraya , Laguna to observe the comet fragments as well as DSOs. The meeting was adjourned at around 6:00pm.
