ALPers at Boardwalk to observe the partial solar
eclipse with the IYA-NOC sponsored Galileo Scope. |

ALP President James Kevin Ty
refocus his setup as he decided to changed back to
prime focus before the Eclipsed Sun sets behind a
large freighter. His earlier setup wth 2x
barlow lens almost fill the whole camera frame!

observing the eclipse Sun prior to sunset.
Note that solar filter was removed because the Sun
was already very low in the horizon. But
a SOLAR FILTER MUST BE INSTALLED AT ALL TIMES ON
NORMAL SOLAR OBSERVATION SESSION . |
