ALP President James Kevin Ty is happy to see some breaks in the clouds for him to image the penumbral lunar eclipse.

James is reviewing some activity images taken during the event while ALPer Raymund Sarmiento looks on.

RTU Astro students joined ALPers in observing the penumbral lunar eclipse at PAGASA Observatory.

James check the tracking of his scope setup.

ABS-CBN crew was there to cover the ALP activities as well as the eclipse.

Curious laymen passed by  the observatory to take a look at the eclipsed Moon through a telescope.

ALPer Francis was all smiles as he joined the ALP activity at the observatory

ALPer James closely monitor the eclipsed Moon through cloud openings .

GMA crews take a breather as they waited for the next cloud opening to image the eclipsed Moon.  ALPer Francis Sarmiento (in orange shirt) seems to be praying and begging to God  to blessed them with a good view of the Moon that evening and did paid off  somehow !:) LOL

ABS-CBN's Jeff Canoy was happy to cover the event at the observatory.

ALPer Francis seriously monitor the subtle shadings of the eclipsed Moon through a refracting telescope.

UNTV reporter interviews RTU astro students on their experience  in observing the penumbral lunar eclipse.

Hey!  I can see some shadings on the Moon!

Reporters and TV crews  from ABS-CBN , GMA  & UNTV were there to cover the eclipse live!!!

Young kids were also there to observe the eclipse.
