November 6, 2016 ALP Monthly Meeting Report

Last November 6th, Astronomical League of the Philippines held its monthly meeting at Exploreum at SM Mall of Asia, Pasay City. Members who were present were ALP President James Kevin Ty , PRO Edge Lat , directors Iah Serna , Shubhashish Banerjee , Peter Benedict Tubalinal , John Ray Cabrera ,  Chris Benedict Solis and Mark Ian Singson.

Meeting started at around 3:30pm with ALP director Iah Serna discussing with members on the upcoming December 4, 2016 ALP Annual Meeting / Christmas Party / Election to be held at VP Jett Aguilar's residence. During the meeting, it was finalized that the event will be held on December 4, 2016 12pm onwards at the residence of VP Jett Aguilar.  Pot Luck lunch so members are encouraged to bring some food / drinks to share with fellow members.

ALP President  James Kevin Ty also announced the nominees for election of directors for 2017-2019.  They were John Ray Cabrera , Andrew Ian Chan, Mike Enage, Peter Benedict Tubalinal  and Justine Garcia.

The meeting ended at around 5:00pm.  They then proceeded to have a light dinner at Reyes Barbecue followed afterwards with AstroKapihan at Starbucks.
