Publications of the Society

The Astronomical League of the Philippines circulates a monthly newsletter - ALPha - where members are updated on news from the society. The Society also publishes the Philippine Journal of Astronomy, the premier astronomical journal in the country.

1. ALPha - Astronomical League of the Philippines HerAld

   As one of the benefits of membership to this prestigious and respected organization, members of the Astronomical League of the Philippines are given free access to the monthly newsletter of the organization, ALPha. News from the league, such as reports of monthly meetings and stargazing sessions, can be found in the newsletter. Astronomical images, sketches, and observing logs of ALP members are also featured in the publication.

2. Philippine Journal of Astronomy

   The Philippine Journal of Astronomy (PJA) is published by the Astronomical League of the Philippines (ALP), the eminent astronomical organization in the country. It is the premier astronomical journal published in the Philippines, signifying a leap of progress in Philippine Astronomy. The journal publishes refereed manuscripts, general astronomy articles, proceedings of astronomical conference, letters, image submissions and reviews from professional and nonprofessional astronomers, as well as news and announcements from the Society.
