January 15, 2012 ALP Monthly Meeting Report

Last January 15, members of the Astronomical League of the Philippines (ALP) attended their monthly meeting at Manila Planetarium.  Members who attended were ALP President James Kevin Ty , Charito Ty and son Kendrick Cole KC Ty ,  VP Jett Aguilar, Treasurer Andrew Ian Chan and Iah Serna; Secretary  Christopher Louie Lu , directors Edgar Ang , John Ray Cabrera , Peter Benedict Tubalinal and Marie Joy Tubalinal ;  Christopher Lee & Sandra Torita Lee ; Ronald Sison, Jan Karlo Hernandez, Bel Pabunan, Desiree del Rosario, Norman Marigza, Joshua Herrera, Kyla Nicole Campos, Gary Andreassen , Sheldon Espartero & Glenda Pajarillo.

Meeting started at around 3:00pm with ALP Secretary and NAW chairman Christopher Louie Lu who touched on the activities planned by ALP for this year's National Astronomy Week.  The following NAW schedules can be viewed below:

February 19, 2012: NAW – PAC 2012 Opening Ceremony

A mix of ALP veterans and newbies attended the meeting to get updates on the ALP NAW activities.	ALP President James Kevin Ty discussed the upcoming ALP Philippine Messier Marathon Open  guidelines and activities.
