March 9, 2016 ALP Partial Solar Eclipse Report

Last March 9th, ALPers that includes Treasurer Andrew Ian Chan, Auditor Edgar Ang , directors Iah Serna, Ronald Sison ; Justine Garcia , Mark Ian Singson, Joyce Gonsalves ; AP Bullit Marquez and Reuters Erik de Castro set up at the top floor of Metro Gaisano Market! Market! Multi Level Parking Building to observe and document the Partial Solar Eclipse (Total Solar Eclipse in parts of  Indonesia) .  They started to setup at around 7:00am.  Andrew setup his Skywatcher 80ED refractor on Vixen GP mount ; Ronald with his Celestron C90 Mak  on Vixen Polarie star tracker ; Edgar with his Canon 60D on Canon EFS 55-250mm zoom lens on Vixen Polarie star tracker ; Mark with his Canon EOS 60D DSLR on EFS 18-200mm zoom lens and Justine with her Nikon  DSLR on 70-300mm zoom lens .

First contact started at around 7:51am PST and 4th contact ended at around 10:14am PST, Maximum eclipse occurred at around 9:00am.
