March 13, 2016 ALP Monthly Meeting Report

Last March 13th, ALP held their monthly meeting at Exploreum at SM Mall of Asia. Members who attended were ALP President James Kevin Ty, wife Charito and son Kendrick Cole KC Ty; Secretary Christopher Louie Lu with wife Karren and daughter Frances;  Treasurer Andrew Ian Chan, Auditor Edgar Ang , directors Iah Serna , Peter Benedict Tubalinal and Ronald Sison;  Zed Contractor and family, Alberto Lao and wife Nonie and Arnel Campos.  Meeting started at around 3:30pm with ALP Treasurer and ALP TSE Manila team leader Andrew Ian Chan as well as ALP TSE Palangkaraya team leader James Kevin Ty and  Secretary Christopher Louie Lu giving a full report of the March 9, 2016 Total Solar Eclipse in Palangkaraya and Manila (Partial Solar Eclipse).

Afterwards, ALP director and Messier Marathon Committee Chairman Peter Benedict Tubalinal lectures on how to get a successful Messier Marathon session on the upcoming April 9, 2016 Messier Marathon Open that will be held at Caliraya, Laguna.  Meeting ended at around 5:30pm and this was followed by their tradiitonal Astro Kapihan / Dinner at Pepper Lunch.
