July 2, 2017 ALP Monthly Meeting Report

Last July 2, Astronomical League of the Philippines held its monthly meeting at Alice Villa-Real's residence in Quezon City. Members who were present were ALP President James Kevin Ty  , wife Charito and son Kendrick Cole KC Ty;  VP Jett Aguilar, Secretary Christopher Louie Lu with wife Karren and daughter Frances Lu;  Treasurer Andrew Ian Chan , directors Ronald Sison  , John Ray Cabrera, Justine Garcia ;  members Alice Villa-Real and  Adi Bontuyan..

Today's meeting is more of a social gathering party as it also coincides with the wake of Alice's brother Carlos so it was decided that the event be held as a party as Carlos is always a happy guy who likes to party as much as possible so Alice decided to make the wake a happy ambience as what she thinks Carlos would like it to be.

As they were enjoying the delicious food being serve that day, members also used that opportunity to discuss on astro matters as well as get acquainted to each other. The meeting ended more or less around 6:30pm to give Alice and her relatives some private moments as well as mass ceremony.
