August 6, 2017 ALP Monthly Meeting Report

Last August 6, Astronomical League of the Philippines held its monthly meeting at Alice Villa-Real's residence in Quezon City. Members who were present were ALP President James Kevin Ty  , VP Jett Aguilar, Treasurer Andrew Ian Chan , directors Ronald Sison  , John Ray Cabrera,and  Adi Bontuyan..

Meeting started at around 3:00pm while awaiting for other members to arrive. Afterwards, ALP VP Jett Aguilar lectures on his upcoming August 21, 2017 US trip to observe the Total Solar Eclipse. He also discuss on the August 7-8, 2017 Partial Lunar Eclipse that will be visible in the Philippines.

It was proceeded by ALP Treasurer Andrew Ina Chan in his discussion of the upcoming ALP  free public stargazing session on August 27, 2017 at SM Mall of Asia SM By The Bay while ALP President James Kevin Ty discuss plans for the ALP 17th Anniversary Party preparations to be held at Alice's residence.  The meeting ended at around 6:00pm.
