February 10, 2019 ALP Monthly Meeting Report

Last February 10, Members of the Astronomical League of the Philippines held their monthly meeting at Alice's Residence at QC. Members who were present were ALP President James Kevin Ty, Auditor Edgar Ang, directors Alice Villa-Real and Adi Bontuyan ; Mike Enage and Per Edman.

Meeting started at 2:30pm with Edgar making several Keto Pizza for the members to taste it out. A good complement as well with pork barbecue of Per Edman and BPC coffee courtesy of host Alice Villa-Real. Meeting first touched on the upcoming National Astronomy Week 2019 with theme
"One Sky, One Vision - Bringing Astronomical Awareness to the People" which will be held on February 17 and 23 with free public stargazing sessions at SM by the Bay at Pasay City.

Afterwards. Further discussions were discussed on 2 days Caliraya session on April and a March out of town stargazing session in Tanay, April Global Astronomy Month weekends stargazing sessions, astro equipment, observation and imaging techniques were also lengthy discussed till 9pm before they ended the meeting.
