Last July 14,
members of Astronomical League of the Philippines
held their monthly meeting at Alice's Residence in Quezon City. Members who attended
were ALP President James Kevin Ty and son Kendrick
Cole KC Ty ; VP Jett Aguilar, PRO Alice
Villa-Real , director Adi Bontuyan and new member
Vince Josef Belen with her mom Alicia Belen and
brother.
Meeting started at around 3pm with ALP President
James Kevin Ty helping newbie Vince and his mom
setup their new Celestron Inspire 100 AZ
refractor. He help them setup the scope properly
and how to align the zero dot finder with the main
telescope. ALP VP Jett Aguilar also brought
some ice cream as well as Pizzas and brewed coffee
compliments of PRO Alice Villa-Real .
The July 17th
Partial Lunar Eclipse was also discussed in detail
but the weather outlook looks bad as there is a low
pressure system entering the Philippine Area of
Responsibility.
Meeting ended at around 6:30pm.
